We had a simple idea: hold an editorial board meeting with the CEOs of the three entities arguing about whether Pascack Valley Hospital should be reopened. They all agreed to gather at our office April 28: Robert C. Garrett, at Hackensack University Medical Center, which wants Pascack to reopen as an acute-care hospital, and Audrey Meyers, at Valley Hospital, and Douglas A. Duchak, at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center, which do not.
